Symantec Corp. on Tuesday reported more than 286 million new cyberthreats in 2010, accompanied by new "megatrends" on the threat landscape.

Mountain View-based Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC) said targeted attacks such as Hydraq and Stuxnet posed a growing threat to enterprises in 2010. Attackers launched targeted attacks against publicly traded, multinational corporations and government agencies, as well as a number of smaller companies

Telecommuting has seen steady growth over the past few years, and is expected to continue to increase in popularity as companies strive to remain nimble and cost effective in today's economy.
